Favorite Books
Haunted
by Chuck Palahniuk

If I had to pick one book by Palahniuk I like the most, I would have to pick Haunted for its variety of short stories. Palahniuk's writing has a knack for punching me in the gut, and I honestly can't tell if I like his books for the way he writes or if I like the stories themselves.
Get Out of Your Mind and Into Your Life
by Steven C. Hayes

By the time I came across Steven Hayes, I've spent godawful amount of time digging into psychology in my attempts to understand what's so difficult about, well, living. After reading it, I felt like I finally could stop digging. This is my favorite book from the field, and I doubt it'll get knocked off its pedestal anytime soon.
The Creative Act
by Rick Rubin

This book helps me to think about creativity in a much more well-rounded way. Rubin brings up a lot things I think we've all experienced when engaging with our respective creative endeavors, yet felt like we were alone in experiencing it.
Never Finished
by David Goggins

This book is my go-to whenever I feel like I'm losing touch and it never fails to give me the much needed kick in the pants. It has to be the most inspiring book I've ever read.
The Power of Now
by Eckhart Tolle

This book has been helpful in sketching out a sense of 'that something' in my head that I feel like would do me good to move towards. It's purely based on vibes I can't quite extrapolate upon, but I feel like it's enriching to look at the views in the book through the lenses of Get Out of Your Mind And Into Your Life.
